Lisa Nguyen interviewed Aladdin Kanawati about the work he does with Syrian refugees. Over the summer, he went to Jordan to visit the homes of the refugees to talk to them and determine whether they need psychological evaluation or therapy. He also works to raise funds to support the refugees.  This was her first real “crack” at using Audacity to edit a digital sound piece. Much had to be left on the cutting room floor, and many journalistic decisions went into this final edit.
